Easy Crop
PVC card printing on the Epson L8050
The Epson L8050, L8100 and L18050 — and the L800 / L805 family — print straight onto a blank PVC card from their ID card tray. Easy Crop drives that tray directly: no Epson Photo+, nothing lined up by hand.
Print a card, start to finish
- Crop the card in Easy Crop — Aadhaar, PAN, Voter, Ayushman and ten more types come out at exact card size, front and back separately.
- Press Print Now. Print Studio opens with TrayLock alignment for your printer.
- Choose the printer, tick the cards, press Start Printing and put blank cards in the tray.
- When the fronts are done, turn the cards over and press Print back.
Before spending a PVC card, use the test print on plain A4 and hold it against a card to check the alignment.
When the print comes out wrong
Every one of these is corrected once, from Print Studio's calibration panel, and stays corrected for that printer:
- Cards print shifted, or the second card is off
- A thin white line along one edge
- Text at the edge is cut off
- The back prints upside down, or on the wrong side
- Colours too dark or washed out, or small text looks soft
Registered shops get the exact steps in the user manual, or from support on WhatsApp.
No card tray?
Dragon Sheet lays 10 cards on an A4 sheet with cut marks, at exact 85.6 × 54 mm. Print it at 100% — not “Fit to page” — on PVC A4 or photo paper, then cut.
