Astha Computer
Terms of use
What you agree to when you order from this shop, written the way we would say it across the counter.
Who you are buying from
This website — yourastha.in — is run by Astha Computer, a wholesale shop in Berhampore, Murshidabad, West Bengal. We sell PVC cards, printing materials, cable and film, mostly in bulk, to cyber cafés and print shops. We are registered under GST.
Using this website, placing an order or making an account means you accept these terms.
An order is an offer until we confirm it
When you place an order you are offering to buy those goods at the price shown. The order is not accepted at that moment. We accept it when we have checked the payment and marked the order confirmed — and you get a message when that happens.
Payment is by UPI or, where we allow it, cash on delivery. There is no payment gateway on this site. You pay from your own app and type the UTR number on the order page, and a person here checks that exact amount and that exact number against our bank before confirming anything. If the money is not there, we reject the payment with a note and you can send the correct UTR and try again.
Never treat an unconfirmed order as booked stock.
Prices, stock and quantities
Prices and stock on this site can change at any time until an order is confirmed. We do our best to keep both correct, but a price can be typed wrong and stock can go out between two customers. If a price or a stock figure was clearly wrong on an order you placed, we will tell you before we confirm it, and you may leave it.
Many items have a minimum quantity — cards sold in packs of fifty have a minimum of fifty. The product page shows it, and the cart will not let you go below it.
Many items also have bulk price steps: the more you take, the less each piece costs. The step and the quantity where it starts are shown on the product page. A bulk step is a lower price at a higher quantity; it does not stop you buying less at the normal price.
Where you qualify as a regular customer, a repeat-customer discount may be applied to the order. That is something we set at our own discretion and can change.
GST and the bill
Our prices are held without tax, the same way the counter's billing software holds them. Where GST applies, it is added at the rate for each item and shown on the order — split as CGST and SGST, because we and almost all of our customers are in one state. Delivery is charged after tax and is not taxed.
The tax invoice itself is raised by our own billing system at the shop, not by this website, so that one shop keeps one continuous invoice series. The bill number is written back onto your order once it is raised.
If you are registered and want the input credit, give us your GSTIN — in your account or on the order — and it goes on the bill. A GSTIN added after the bill is raised cannot be put on it.
We may refuse or cancel an order
We can refuse or cancel an order, before or after payment, for an honest reason: the stock is not really there, the price was wrong, the delivery address is one no courier will reach, the payment does not look genuine, or the account has abused the shop. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full, back to the account it came from.
You can cancel your own order yourself, from your account, while it is still waiting for us to confirm it. After we have confirmed it, ask us and we will cancel it for you at any time before it goes to the courier. Once it is dispatched, treat it as a return instead — see returns and refunds.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. Anything ordered from your account, we take as ordered by you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into it. Give a real name, phone number and delivery address — a wrong address is the commonest reason a parcel goes missing, and it is not something we can fix after dispatch.
What we are responsible for, and what we are not
We are responsible for supplying the goods you ordered, in good condition, and for putting right anything that arrives damaged or wrong. That is set out on the returns page.
We are not responsible for how the goods perform in your machine or your process. A card, a film or a ribbon has to suit your printer and your settings, and we cannot know those. If you are unsure, ask us on WhatsApp before you buy in quantity, or take one pack and test it first.
We are not responsible for a delay caused by the courier, by weather, by a strike or by an address that was typed wrongly, nor for business loss — a job you could not deliver, a customer you lost — arising from a late or faulty supply. Whatever we owe you on an order is limited to what you paid for that order.
Photographs on the site are there to show what an item is. Colour and finish can differ a little between batches and between screens.
This is a shop, not a software licence. Easy Crop, the desktop app, has its own terms inside the app.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms as the shop changes. The date at the bottom of this page tells you when it was last changed. The terms that apply to an order are the ones on this page on the day the order was placed.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of India. Any dispute goes to the courts of Murshidabad, West Bengal, and to no other court.
