How it works

  1. Set up the tray. Put the blank PVC card in the Epson ID card tray and choose the printer in Print Studio.
  2. Crop and test print. Crop the card in Easy Crop and print one test card to check the position.
  3. Print the run. Press Direct Print and the cards print one after the other, front and back.

Do I need Epson Photo+ to print PVC cards on the L8050?

No. Easy Crop crops the card to size and Print Studio prints straight to the Epson card tray, so you do not need Epson Photo+ or Photoshop.

Why does my PVC card print shifted on the Epson L8050?

Print one test card and check the tray position and the card's border setting. The setup guide on the Easy Crop Epson L8050 page lists the fixes for a shifted card, a white edge and an upside-down back.

Can Easy Crop print many cards in one run?

Yes. Direct Print sends the next card only after the previous card is really out, so a long run does not give blank or mixed-up cards.
